SAINT AUDOEN'S CHURCH

Friday and Saturday night of DEAF weekend offers the opportunity to hear the sounds of traditional Asian instruments the guzheng and the koto, along with the otherworldly theremin in the hallowed setting of
St. Audeon's Church.

Located in Cornmarket, on High Street, in the heart of medieval Dublin, St. Audeon's was built in the late twelfth century in honour of the patron saint of Norman France, Ouen. Once a central part of Dublin life, this hidden gem has now been beautifully restored, and DEAF is delighted to have been given the opportunity to employ this venerable location to host such unique performances.
