This years DEAF features a unique performance from the ‘Pastures New’ project: a confluence of Traditional Irish Music and real-time computer music systems in a concert featuring the combined talents of Paddy Glackin (Fiddle), Emer Mayock (Flute) and Donal Siggins (Laptop).

 

The concert is built around traditional music performance where live electronic elements interact through a musical and tonal transformation of acoustically performed material in real-time by means of specially written computer software.
