Work for DEAF

Salesperson Wanted

Due to the expansion of the festival this year we’re looking for someone to give us a hand selling advertising in our print program. This will be a paid position, it will be commission based and you can work for us in your own time. The program is due to go to print in mid August. Some sales experience is obviously a plus though not essential. We are primarily looking for someone who is well motivated and enthusiastic with a good knowledge of what DEAF is all about. If you think you’re the right person for the job and are available to start immediately please send your CV to karen@deafireland.com

Work Experience

Once again this summer we are pleased to offer an internship in our offices in Dublin’s city centre. All we ask is that you are enthusiastic, self motivated, have a reasonable knowledge of what DEAF is and can start working immediately. If you are familiar with the festival and are looking for some work experience please send your CV and a little bit about yourself to karen@deafireland.com. Prior experience working in event promotion or entertainment is not required.

Festival Volunteers

DEAF would not be possible without the help of volunteers. Each year we put out a call for help during festival week in October and we are always overwhelmed by the response. Once again we are asking you to get in touch with us if you think you can help out in any way. This could be anything from putting up posters and lifting equipment, to ferrying artists to and from the airport. As always we can cover your expenses and would like to offer festival tickets in return for your efforts. If you’d like to help out and will be based in Dublin in October please drop karen@deafireland.com a mail with your contact info and we’ll be in touch.
